Yacht description

For Sale: Swan 42 Hull No. 039

This Swan 42, designed by Germàn Frers and built by Nautor’s Swan, is a high-performance racer/cruiser, meticulously maintained by professionals. Primarily used for racing, the boat has been hauled ashore between events to ensure optimal care. First launched in 2008, it remains a competitive contender in both ORC and OneDesign racing formats.

Key features include reinforced hull, mast step, and keel for enhanced stiffness. Notably, this boat is one of the few constructed using vacuum-infusion techniques. The OneDesign setup boasts a minimum weight of 7650 kg (including 30 kg of corrector weights) and a keel weighing 3205 kg, in line with class rules.

The boat comes equipped with two keels: one for OneDesign racing and another, designed by Maurizio Cossutti with CFD analysis by Giorgio Provinciali in 2022, for ORC competitions. Currently configured for ORC racing with furniture removed, it can easily be converted back for OneDesign racing or cruising.

A perfect choice for those seeking speed, versatility, and top-tier craftsmanship.
